Server was ‘Promise’, friendly and good service. I doubled checked the pricing based on another review and found no errors. Atmosphere, well it’s a WIMPY so not much to say about anything… It was clean and would happily eat here again.
Great value! When I'm in the mood for fast food, Wimpy is my favourite. My Crunchy Stack Burger is always delicious, but this time I tried the chicken schnitzel, which is topped with cheese and served with mushroom sauce and crispy onions. Also very tasty and at a fair price.
Ordered 2 different burger meals, and was extremely disappointed to receive burnt/old looking fries. The burger bun is also half-burnt. You shouldn't be going wrong with an established recipe. UPDATE: Swift response from Wimpy following the above review. Obviously embarrassed by the quality of food sold, they apologized and offered us an opportunity to redeem themselves. A replacement meal was given and was reflective of the standard and quality we have come to expect of Wimpy. As a result the review rating is amended from 1 to 4.
Finally... A real special, that gives you more than the picture shows. That burger, chips & shake for R69.90 is an absolute winner! Thank you Wimpy!
